The upside down cow (subject matter) is recognizable yet disorienting. To expand on this idea, the gold leaf along the cracked gap calls attention to the broken. The fragility & brokenness of life is recalled intrinsically when observing the tombstone. Nothing is as it should be, but we’re still here.

This piece is about angry guys exploiting women because of traumatic childhoods. The exploration of feelings related to a mother/father wound, a significant other wound, or simple rejection has the power to disintegrate. As such, the piece is fragmented like a collage or tapestry of images.
